Annotation:

A possible way to solve the problem of power supply of cathodic protection stations of pipelines under construction and reconstruction away from main power lines is the use of an innovative resonant single-wire power transmission system (RSWPTS). The article describes the composition and operation of the experimental samples of the equipment complex for RSWPTS with a nominal capacity of 5 kW developed on the instructions of Gazprom PJSC. The results of experimental studies and pilot tests of RSWPTS with the use of the developed equipment are presented. During the pilot tests, for the first time, three cathodic protection stations of the main gas pipeline were powered by one wire of the existing along the route power line: one located at a distance of 0,8 km from the transmitter, two more – at a distance of 3 km.
