Conceptual geological-hydrodynamic modeling on the example of the Komandirshor group of fields

Annotation:

The object of the study is terrigenous subdomanic sediments of D2ef, D2st, D3dzr formations of the Komandirshor group of fields. The authors of the article consider two concepts of the geological structure – "traditional" and "alternative" variants, which differ in approaches to the allocation of stratigraphic boundaries of productive formations and the interpretation of seismic surveys. The fund of wells, interpretation of geophysical well surveys, physical-chemical properties of reservoir rocks and fluids saturating them are the same for both variants. As a result of three-dimensional geological models development for each option, the initial geological reserves were calculated, the total maps of effective oil-saturated strata were built and the most perspective areas for placement of the project well fund were revealed. As compared to the "traditional" variant, the projected well stock increased by 55 % in the "alternative" variant. Initial fluid flow rates were calculated and used as the basis for hydrodynamic modeling along with geological models. The created filtration models made it possible to predict technological indicators of development.
