Annotation:

Effective planning of geological-technological measures and drilling new wells depends on the quality of the applied geological and hydrodynamic models. A correct forecast of the wells fund water-flooding brings savings to the company's budget due to optimization of the location and correction of future wells number. Drilling of horizontal wells is often supported by a geosteering service. As a result, geological models built according to well placement results require separate expertise due to a human error. The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the results of horizontal wells geological drilling. The analysis includes four stages: revision of the stratigraphy results; construction of geosteering models according to the previous and new drilling concepts; overlaying the production logging profile on the previous and new concepts of the reservoir penetration; correction of geological and hydrodynamic models with updating of the lithology cube and points of the formation top penetration. Based on the results of the analysis, the idea of the structure occurrence in one of the zones of the area changed, which in turn changed the geological and hydrodynamic models, corrected the plan for new wells drilling and optimized the company's financial costs.
