Annotation:

The paper discusses the methodology for assessing the investment attractiveness of the oil producing industry in some regions of the Pre-Volga Federal District. Such subjects of the Federal District as the Perm Territory, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Udmurt Republic were chosen for comparison. Geographically, these regions are neighboring, have common administrative borders, but at the same time they differ greatly in the level of investments already made in them. For the selected regions, a set of private factors affecting the investment attractiveness of the region was considered, and a comparative analysis of the investment attractiveness indicators of the regional oil industry was performed. The private factors of the potential for attracting investments, non-commercial risks of attracting investments, indicators of the integral level and indices of comparative investment attractiveness were considered.
