Annotation:

Modern tendencies of oil and gas companies’ development in Russia in conditions of digital transformation are associated with implementation of real priority trends one of which is labor productivity increase of Russian enterprises and, consequently, production efficiency. Labor productivity increase of Russian enterprises is one of the most important factors of the country's economy development. The paper determines the real problems of increasing labor productivity: of oil and gas companies, administrative barriers, high social risks of mass cuts, insufficient tax stimulation, deficit of digital and technological competences for employees, insufficient investments, including availability of project financing, mainly for big companies with government participation. In the course of digital transformation of production processes of enterprises in oil and gas industry, the demand for new, associated with labor productivity growth, occupations, which require personnel training, was determined. The main factors of labor productivity growth of oil and gas companies such as automation of production processes, based on their digital transformation, development of technological innovations and human capital, digital way of corporate culture, training of new personnel for further development of competitive advantage of oil and gas enterprises, tax stimulation of banks and investors, participating in investment projects of oil and gas industry are identified.
