Annotation:

The article is devoted to the study of the management teams’ role in the work of the oil and gas sector of the economy as well as to the improvement of management efficiency through the transition to a command management model. This model involves the creation of management teams to solve certain production goals, united in an organizational structure based on the principles of democracy, leadership, target coordination and unity provision. The relevance of this topic is determined by the need to improve the efficiency of management teams that are able to realize projects into reality. The authors of the article, in the course of the study, noted that the management activities of the team in the oil and gas industry are primarily based on a rather specific function – team decision-making, in contrast to the management apparatus, where decision-making is often distributed according to the levels of its preparation and approval. The study resulted in analyzing the technologies of a management team creation in the oil and gas sector of the economy. The study performed in this article is a step towards a comprehensive study of managing team building processes in modern Russian oil and gas companies. The next steps in this direction may be caused by the following factors: – generalization of specific practical experience in the formation and development of managerial team building in organizations of various types (state, commercial, non-commercial); – further development of the organizational and instrumental-technological components of diagnostics and support of the process of managerial team building in organizations.
