Annotation:

The article studies the phenomenon of digitalization of society and economy as a whole, as well as the digital transformation of the oil and gas industry in particular. The methods, tools and channels of digital transformation were studied and the level of their implementation in Russian oil and gas companies was analyzed as well as recommendations on the introduction of digital marketing mechanisms in the activities of oil and gas companies, based on their current goals and objectives are given. The concept and essence of digital marketing and the varieties of its application in the oil and gas industry are considered separately.
