Annotation:

Modern economic development of the oil and gas complex requires use of new technologies and human capital. The analysis of publications reveals the main problems of the of human capital formation in the oil and gas complex organizations. These are the urgent need for the formation and use of the intellectual capital of workers, the necessity of improving the skills of workers; staff turnover, lack of young specialists; changing the content of professions due to a decrease or increase in the need for them, automation of technological processes, the emergence and change in demand for the required knowledge and skills. The purpose of the authors of the article is to analyze the specifics of the employer's search for applicants in the oil and gas industry. For this purpose, the following methods were used: monographic, search and system analysis, interviews and data mining. The authors identified ten groups of search tools for applicants: these are labor market platforms; websites of organizations and corporate training centers of oil and gas companies; recruitment agencies; recruitment software; information portals and other online resources, professional communities, social networks, telegram channels; platforms for attracting freelancers; headhunting; crowd recruiting; based on the recommendation of colleagues. There are various examples. The authors of the article highlighted some specific features of using the considered means of searching for applicants and their specifics. In particular, based on the use of intellectual analysis of the data mining of the HeadHunter platform the employers with the largest number of vacancies in the oil and gas industry and the most common offers have been identified. The data show a high demand for maintenance and technical staff. Each oil and gas company is forced to develop its own recruitment strategy using a combination of our dedicated job search tools.
