VISCOUS FLOW IN A CYLINDRICAL CHANNEL WITH SURFACE COATED WITH POROUS LAYER

Annotation:

The flow of viscous incompressible fluid in a long cylindrical pore, with the inner surface covered with a permeable porous layer is considered in two mathematical models. The first of these uses the Brinkman equation for the porous layer and the second replaces the porous layer with Navier-slip condition on the wall of the pore. The feasibility and validity of the proposed models to calculate the displacement of oil from porous media are discussed.
