Annotation:
Percolation modelling of a two-phase flow in porous media theoretically predicted the effect of relative permeability curves reversing behavior for power-law fluids. The flow of fluids with various rheological properties was simulated on the Hele-Shaw cell with close packing of glass balls in order to confirm this theoretical effect by the experiment. The experimental data qualitatively confirm the theoretical calculations, leading to the opportunity to choose the optimal recovery mechanism if the formation fluid rheology data are available.
