Annotation:

Gas turbine units with variable geometry nozzles are operated within the fleet of gas compressor aggregates of PJSC “Gazprom”. The technical condition related to power output for these gas compressor aggregates is determined using factory test (specification) characteristics. The article proposes an alternative method for assessing the technical condition, based on the development of a baseline (reference) model of the gas turbine unit at the initial stage of operation using machine learning. The results of applying the proposed approach to evaluate the technical condition of the GTPU type GTNR-25I, equipped with a regenerative gas turbine unit with a foreign-made MS 5322R variable geometry nozzle apparatus, are presented.
